At the regular meeting held on 2/27/24, the Assumption Parish Police Jury approved to increase the Mosquito Abatement fee that is currently assessed monthly on water bills. The change will be an increase from $1 to $3 total per month.
This increase is necessary to continue funding the program and provide better abatement services to the residents of Assumption Parish.
The increase to $3 per month will take effect on the next billing cycle through the Assumption Parish Waterworks.
