Responsibilities & Duties

The Assumption Parish Office of Public Works is responsible for the administration of energy conservation and maintenance of buildings, drainage operations, mosquito abatement and Parish recreation facilities.

In addition, Public Works is responsible for the design and preparation of cost estimates of small construction projects and completion of annual road and bridge inspections.

Parish Manager

Brian Blankenship serves as Parish Manager for the Assumption Parish Police Jury.

He is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all functions of the public works facility for any and all work performed by each unit of Public Works operations.
