Federal Fishery Recovery Program was established to revitalize Louisiana's commercial fishing industry impacted by hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
Under this initiative, there are four programs designed to help Louisiana's commercial fishermen and wholesale/retail seafood dealers recover expenses from the devastation of both storms.
Each program is designed to stimulate economic revitalization by maintaining employment in the commercial fishing industry and providing viable resources to commercial fishermen.
