Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides low-income families with utility assistance. To receive this assistance you must call or come to the Office of Housing and Community Development on the 1st business day of the month to schedule an appointment. Payments are credited to your account within 30 to 60 days.
Applicants must
- Bring in their last six to twelve energy and gas bills
- Reside at the billing address
- Provide social security cards for all household members
