The Assumption Parish Government Office of Administration is directly responsible for all financial and budgeting matters, personnel administration, policy development record keeping, investment purchasing, and monitoring of purchasing activities. The office of the Administration is also responsible for the preparation of meeting a agendas, meeting attendance, resolutions, ordinances, and minutes of all official jury meetings.

Assumption Parish Secretary-Treasuer, Kim Torres dircetly assists the Office of the Administration wtih all departmental tasks and serves as the current Public Information Officer for the Office of Emergency Preparedness. As an an Equal Opportunity Officer, Kim also ensures the fairness of the Police Jury regarding equal opportunity issues.
